Being Black In America (Amy)

Yesterday I was watching Black In America . I thought that it was pretty interesting for a documentary. I like the way it cut it part little by little it helped me stay focused. And most of the stuff they taked about were things I heard for the first time. And it was very suprising !!! One thing that stuck to me was how hard it was for that elderly woman to go to the supermarket. But my friend Jamila told me that it was a dramatization so I dont really know what to think but if it was truee that is very very sad.

The Program is almost over

well the program is over in a week so i will miss u all but a will always remember the times we were together.

Trip

On friday we went to three place it was very hot
well first we went to wfuv in fordam we got a tour and got to see now college students work a radio station i really like it
then we went to Fox five Business and in there we got to see the set of reporters
and the control room
went to propublica and we got them to tak to us they were telling us how the company worked while they were taling the whole group was taking notes and I fell aslepp. Donna was a little peeved I thought it was funny. Amy was definetly the best behaved.

My experience on the Field Trip

The field trip was fun but was also very tiring. Getting to experience the feeling of being in an area in which a jounarlist has the option to be at is interesting. The location which i mainly enjoyed to be at was FOX5 business. Being allowed to sit in a chair in which an anchor sits at everyday to tell the news, brought me exicitiment. I also enjoyed the other locations but my favorite was FOX5.

Child killed in a day care fire

While a day care fire began and all the children were trying to safely be taken out, one child didnt make it. Four- year- old girl died after being pulled out from a day care center. She was found unconscious and was later pronounced dead.Former Stepping Stones Day Care assistant director Jamie McCall said, "She was shy at first until you got to know her and when she knew you, she would open up and smile and come and hug you."

two atlanta police officers shot, suspect killed

Two Atlanta police officers were shot and a suspect was killed on Tuesday. The shootings happened around 10:50 a.m. The officers were checking out a burglary and went to ask people some questions. The officers stopped by a home in 976 cascade road and asked the resident s who were male to show there hands and one of the men pulled out a semiautomatic weapon and fired at the officers. One officerwas shot in the chest the other was shot in the neck, none were seriously injured.

i think that its hard for the parents to let go because they fell as if thier kids might be thier "babies" and the kids are willing to let gho because they are growing up.... but it could be different in other families/cases.

gas prices going down???
we wish....since gas prices are going up everything else does too.......
for example:
i remeber when a gallon of milk was like about 2 dollars now its like $4.37 or something like that ....
the highs price today of gas is 4.90 and 1/10!!!!
like for real whats up with that .....that means that now for the prices to some how lower down we all have to either buy hybride cars or use public transportation ....
